Yukiko Omura
Yukiko Omura, a Japanese National, brings over 40 years of international professional experience in the financial sector and has been involved in projects in over 100 countries. Currently a Non-Executive Director of the Boards of HSBC Bank Plc. (on Risk and Audit Committees), Assured Guaranty Ltd. (on Risk and ESG Committees and Chair of Finance Committee), and Wismettac Nishimoto HD CO. Ltd. (on Audit and Supervisory Committee), and Senior Independent Director of the Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG) (on Risk, Nomination Committees and Chair of Investment Committee). She was the Under-Secretary General, Vice President and COO of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) based in Rome. Prior to that, she was the Executive Vice President and CEO of the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) of the World Bank Group based in Washington, D.C.. Formerly worked at JP Morgan, Lehman Brothers, UBS and Dresdner bank in Tokyo, London and NY.
